Description
I first noticed the screaming baby beginning to emerge in the summer of 2019 on a construction
site barricade up the street from my house. Each time a new stage in its metamorphosis was
detected, I photographed it. My fascination with the baby’s primal emotion continued until the
wall was dismantled in the fall two years later. For me, the rawness of the images represent
what the state of the world was leading up to and what too many of us are still coping with to
date.
